Jesus makes room for both hurt and hope in a time of crisis.

We’ll dive into the story of Lazarus in John 11 and how we see Jesus hurt over the reality of death, suffering, and pain in the world and hope for the possibility of something more. There are those who are hurting without hoping and there are those who are hoping without hurting, but the gospel leaves room for both. We can hurt over what we’re losing right now, and we can hope over what there still is to gain because of what Jesus has done.
