Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you’re attending our church for the first-time, we have a few street spots reserved directly in front on Lincoln Avenue. Look for the signs that say “first-time guest parking.” For handicap accessible parking, there’s spots reserved in the alley behind the church (turn left off N. Starr Avenue). For everyone else, there’s free street parking on Lincoln Avenue or you can use the WesBanco or Goodyear parking lots. Just don’t park at Kuhn’s, please!

  • Yes, there’s definitely coffee. It’s to the left when you walk in the front door.

  • We have programming available for kids aged toddler-3rd grade at our 9am service with our nursery operating as a cry room, and full kids ministry serving nursery-5th grade at the 11am service.

We also have programming for 6th - 12th graders on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM!

All of our volunteers go through background checks, and we make use of a check-in system to ensure a safe environment. When you attend for the first-time, you’ll fill out a form in the front lobby so that you can use the check-in system next time and a host will show you the way to the different classrooms. If you need help, just ask one of our hosts near the front door and they’ll be happy to help.

  • Most services are about 75 - 90-minutes long. There’s a few songs at the beginning, some announcements about next steps you can take in our church, an opportunity to say hello to people around you and practice generosity, a teaching from the Bible that’s about 35-40 minutes long, and a time of response with communion, a few more songs and an opportunity to receive prayer ministry. If you’ve never been to church before, that’s okay! You’ll be surrounded by people who can help you out if you have questions.

  • Our pastor usually preaches in a t-shirt and jeans and that sets the tone for what most people wear at our church, but people dress in what’s comfortable. Don’t be surprised if you see someone in a Steelers jersey.
