Church family,
God is moving in our church, and we have some exciting news for you.
In January 2022, we discerned that the Lord was leading us to move from two services back to one service for a season in order to focus on rebuilding our church post-pandemic. It was a challenging decision to make, but we wanted to follow the Spirit’s lead no matter what.
Since making that decision, you’ve been inviting your friends, our church has been growing, and you might have noticed that it’s starting to get a bit crowded on Sunday mornings. So, after getting some feedback, discussing the options, and praying together, our Leadership Council believes that it’s time to launch a second service!
Starting on Sunday, December 8, instead of having one service at 10:00 AM, we’re going to be launching two services at 9:00 AM (with limited B-Kids ministry: Toddler &Pre-K thru 3rd Grade) + 11:00 AM (with full B-Kids ministry: Nursery thru 5th Grade).
To help us prepare for the launch of two services, there’s four things we’re asking from you:
Choose a service. Both the 9:00 AM + 11:00 AM will be identical—with the exception of how much B-Kids ministry will be available. Figure out which one will work best for you and your family in this season and add it to your calendar.
Join a team. One of the main challenges when you initially start a second service is that there’s not enough people to serve at first. We’re looking for people to join one of our five core Sunday teams—in particular, B-Kids. You can apply for a team here. (And, if you’re already serving and you’re able to serve a bit more in this season as we grow, let your team leader know!)
Invite a friend. We’re moving to two services to make room for your friends, so invite some friends to join you for our Christmas teaching series that will start on Sunday, December 8. Most people are just one invite away from attending church for the first time or the first time in a long time. We’ll even have some parking spaces reserved in front of the church for first-time guests.
Pray for it. Starting on December 8, we’re going to launch the 8:26 Prayer Huddle because it’s at 8:26 AM and it’s shaped by Romans 8:26 (“the Spirit himself intercedes for us”). It’s no longer required for volunteers to attend, but it’s open to anyone to attend as we lift up our church in prayer. It will be less than 15-minutes so that anyone on a team can get to where they need to be.
Thank you for making room in our church for people to explore who Jesus is with us. Yinz guys are amazing! If you have any questions or ideas, reach out to hello@bellevuechristian.church. We’d love to hear from you.

Lead Pastor
P.S. If you’re wondering where to park, you can park on the street (it’s free on Sundays), the Wesbanco or Goodyear lots across the street, the limited mobility parking behind the church, or the lot behind the H&R Block.
